Everyone knew my pastor as "Brother Jimmy". Whenever we were in the same room and someone said, "Brother Jimmy", we both responded. So, I decided to go by "The Other Brother Jim". Now you know the reason behind the unusual name of this blog. I have authored devotionals since 2010. I look forward to your comments! I also teach an adult Sunday School class, take photographs and have served on various committees for my church. In early 2013 I was invited to write monthly articles for 'The Brethren Journal' which is received by all members of the denomination.
